WinTV-HVR-1850:
The WinTV-HVR-1850 is a single slot PCI Express board (full height) with two tuners: one for NTSC analog TV and one for ATSC and QAM digital TV. The WinTV-HVR-1850 also includes a high quality hardware MPEG-2 encoder, which is used to improve the performance when watching and recording analog cable TV.

The WinTV-HVR-1850 can be used to watch and record TV in Windows Vista (all versions) with Hauppauge's WinTV v6 application, plus it can be used for all TV functions in Microsoft's Media Center application (NTSC and ATSC TV only).
Note: model 01128 is the WinTV-HVR-1850 board with Media Center remote control receiver/blaster.
Note: model 01129 is the WinTV-HVR-1850 board only. If you already have a Media Center remote control, then model 01129 is the correct WinTV-HVR-1850 to order.
Note: Windows Media Center in Windows 7 includes support for clear QAM digital cable TV.
